Introducing the agentic health record
Your EHR knows what happened in your appointments. BodyBuddy's agentic health record is written from your daily texts and covers the rest of the time.

Your electronic health record knows what happened in your appointments. Your agentic health record knows what's happening the rest of the time.
Think about how much of your health the healthcare system never sees. Your knee complains on stairs. Your stomach turns after lunch twice a week. You sleep badly for the week before a deadline. Your physio gave you exercises, and you stopped doing them somewhere in week two. Almost none of it makes it into a chart, because a chart gets written during a few appointments a year and you spend the other 8,700 hours living in your body.
BodyBuddy is an AI health coach that texts you every day. People come to it for help with goals like losing weight, gaining muscle, or sticking to a plan from their doctor. Those daily conversations turn out to hold something no lab or device can measure: what you did, what got in the way, and why. Today we're introducing the health record built from them. We call it the agentic health record, because BodyBuddy writes it for you.
What an agentic health record is
Every health record you have today is a set of numbers measured by something else. A device counts your steps. A scale reports your weight. A lab draws your blood. Your doctor's office keeps notes from the visit. All of it is useful, and all of it is quiet about what you said and why.
The agentic health record starts from the other end. You text BodyBuddy about your day the way you'd text a friend. BodyBuddy notices the health in it: a sore foot, a bad night, a meal that didn't sit right, a plan you skipped and the reason you skipped it. Each of those gets filed under the thing it's about, with its date, and kept. Over weeks that becomes a running account of your health in the context of your life.
The word "agentic" is doing one job in the name. An agent maintains the record. You never fill out a form. BodyBuddy asks the follow-up question, checks back on the things that hurt, connects the skipped walk to the sore foot, and rewrites the story of each concern as it changes. Nobody had to type any of it.

What it looks like
Open the app and you see a figure of your body. Everything you've told BodyBuddy is mapped onto it. Recent and active things sit bright on the surface. Things that resolved fade but stay, the way a scar stays on a body. Tap anywhere to say what's going on there, and it lands as a mark.
Every mark has its own page, written in plain language from your own words. It says what's going on, how it's been feeling, which plans are attached to it, and what BodyBuddy is wondering about next. A knee page might hold the rehab plan your physio gave you, how the knee has rated over the last dozen check-ins, and the evening you first mentioned it. There's no chart jargon, because you're the one reading it.

Three more pages cover the parts of health that don't belong to one spot: your diet, how you move, and how you sleep. Each is a short paragraph rewritten from what you've logged, with last month's numbers underneath.
It's like Google Earth meets Wikipedia for your health. Zoom out and you see your whole body. Zoom in on any point and there's an article about it.
What it does for your coaching
The record is why BodyBuddy gets better the longer you use it. Before every reply, BodyBuddy reads the pages that matter for what you just said. So the second time the foot comes up, it already knows you tried toe spacers, that long walks make it worse, and that you'd rather avoid surgery. It picks up where you left off.
That memory changes the questions it asks. It notices the pattern in what keeps getting in the way of a goal: the late work nights, the travel weeks, the same excuse three Fridays running. It asks the things nobody else thinks to ask, like what supplements you take on a vegan diet, or when you last saw a doctor at all. And it flags when it's time to see someone.
Share it with a professional
The part we're most excited about is the handoff. Any concern, or the whole record, can be turned into a read-only page you send to a doctor, physio, dietitian, therapist, or coach. They open the link without an account and see where things stand: the mark on the figure, how it's been feeling, the plans you tried and the ones you set aside, and any questions you want them to answer. There's a printable version for the ones who like paper.
Nothing you texted crosses over. The page is written from your record, with none of your messages or quotes on it. It shows a pattern and leaves the conclusion to the professional. On a diet page, for example, it can say which foods you log most and roughly what your intake looks like on a logged day. It will never name a deficiency or a diagnosis. That's their job.
Fifteen minutes with a doctor go further when they walk in already knowing what the last three months looked like.
Links last 90 days. You can turn one off any time, and you can see how many times it was opened. Sharing is included in every membership.
Where the record comes from
- Your texts. The daily conversation is the main source.
- Taps on the body. Say what's going on anywhere on the figure.
- Recorded appointments. Record a visit and BodyBuddy turns the instructions into a plan, filed under the concern it treats.
- Photos of meals. A picture of your plate becomes a logged meal.
- Devices. Connect Apple Health, Oura, Garmin, Fitbit, WHOOP, or Withings, and your sleep, steps, and workouts feed the numbers.
- Another assistant. Paste in what you've already told ChatGPT or Claude, and BodyBuddy starts from there.
Privacy
Your record is yours. It's encrypted, never sold, and never used for ads. You can edit or resolve any entry, and ask us to delete any of it. Sharing only happens when you create a link. We never share your record with anyone on our own.
FAQ
Does this replace my doctor's records or MyChart?
No. Your doctor's record is the record of your care. This is the record of your life between visits. The two are most useful together, which is why any page of it can be shared before an appointment.
Do I have to fill anything out?
No. You text BodyBuddy about your day and it does the filing. If it gets something wrong, tell it in a text, or edit the entry in the app.
Can my doctor edit it?
No. A shared page is read-only, and you keep the record. What they tell you in the visit comes back into it the normal way: you record the appointment or tell BodyBuddy what they said.
What if nothing is wrong with me?
Then the record is mostly your diet, movement, and sleep pages, plus the goal you're working on. The first time something does come up, there's already a body to put it on and a history behind it.
Does it cost extra?
No. The record and sharing are part of a BodyBuddy membership.
Start building yours
The record starts with the first text. Download BodyBuddy, say what you're working on, and mention the knee when it complains. In a month you'll have a page about it that you never had to write.
