BodyBuddy keeps track of what you tried and how it went.

session with Fiona is tomorrow. this week: 5 of 7 journal nights, and the walks on the hard days happened twice
After your session, text BodyBuddy a voice memo of what you covered. Or, if your therapist is okay with it, record the session in the app. Either way, BodyBuddy pulls out what you and your therapist agreed to try.

Fiona's Between-Session PlanThis weekWhat we covered
Work stress kept surfacing this month, mostly as late nights of scrolling instead of sleep. Between now and next session the focus is the evening wind-down: screens off, a short journal entry, and catching the stress early instead of at 1am.

BodyBuddy supports your mental health work with coaching and accountability. It is a coach, never a therapist. In a crisis, call or text 988.
Common questions
Record your session. BodyBuddy pulls out the steps your therapist gave you and texts you until they're done.
Yes. Thought records, worksheets, skills practice, exposure steps, journaling prompts, whatever you and your therapist agreed to try. BodyBuddy works from your notes or your recording, so it follows the plan you actually left with, whatever the modality is called.
Many don't, at least not formally. If a session ends with anything like try noticing when that comes up this week, that counts. Send BodyBuddy a voice memo about what you covered, and it will find the steps worth practicing.
A voice memo works. After your session, talk through what you covered and what you agreed to try, even from the parking lot. You can also type out what you remember. Rough and unpolished is fine.
No. BodyBuddy is not therapy, and it does not replace your therapist. It is a coach that helps you follow through on what you and your therapist agreed to try between sessions. If you are in a crisis, call or text 988.
No, not unless you share it. There is no therapist account or portal, and nothing is visible to your therapist by default. Your plan and your progress belong to you. If you want to, you can show your plan in session or send a recap yourself.
Yes. BodyBuddy is text-first, so the daily check-ins arrive over iMessage or SMS and you reply like you would to a friend. The app adds extras, like recording a session and a home for your plans, but the texting works on its own.
BodyBuddy does the same work for physical therapy plans and medication schedules.

Hi, I'm Francis 👋
If you're like me, I tend to forget details of my therapy sessions by the time I'm in the parking lot. I built BodyBuddy to give everyone the daily accountability to follow through on any next steps that came up during the session.
